At The Small Magic Foundation, we believe potential doesn't wait for perfect circumstances. That's why we created M.A.G.I.C. Grants: funding for young people ages 13–19 who have an idea, a drive to act, and a community they want to serve.
Through our grants, students partner with a local school, nonprofit, church, or community organization to design and lead a real project. One that solves a real problem, helps real people, and is entirely their own. Along the way, they gain something no classroom can teach: the confidence that comes from turning an idea into impact.

Youth-Led Grants Program
Big change starts with one person willing to try.
Our M.A.G.I.C. Grants give young people ages 13–19 the funding and support to lead real community projects. But they have to earn it. Students identify a need, build a plan, and partner with a local organization to make it happen. The grant is the spark. The work is theirs.
This isn't charity. It's an investment in young people who are ready to step up, and a chance for them to discover what they're truly capable of.

Lisa Demmi started The Small Magic Foundation with a simple conviction: the best way to change the world is to make sure the next generation knows they can.
Small magic isn't grand gestures or sweeping movements. It's a spark of courage. A moment of kindness. A young person who decides to try something and discovers they're capable of more than they imagined. These small acts ripple outward in ways that are hard to predict and impossible to contain.
Lisa built this foundation to give young people access to what they need most: tools, resources, mentorship, and the belief that their ideas matter. Because when you hand a kid the right opportunity at the right moment, something shifts. They stop waiting for change and start making it.
